Eager To Preserve Your Harvest? Learn To Do It Safely and Enjoy Your Summer Bounty All Year Long!
Using what’s fresh in the farmer’s market that week, we’ll create 4 – 6 different recipes such as a sweet peach jam and a savory peach chutney. And the best part? We’ll all take home a pint jar of each finished product. Participants will work in teams to prepare the produce and get hands-on experience with both hot water bath and pressure canning. Jars, lids, and produce will all be provided and are included in the cost of the class.
Our three class series takes advantage of the variety of fresh fruits and vegetables each month.
